"Bank holidays, the raft race, the steam fair, new year, or just a few days away, The Quay is always our place to stay. We've stayed in every room through the years we have been there, and they are all of the highest standard. The room with the balcony overlooking the sea is stunning: we sat on that balcony this new year and even though we've been together for 42 years it was still romantic looking at the sea view. The meals are prepared and served to the highest standard and the staff are friendly, helpful and polite. "....Our room was beautifully bright, attractive and clean with a modern en suite shower room. There was a bouble bed and single bed with a flat screen tv and hospitality tray. It was also very quiet and comfortable and we had an excellent night's sleep. We had dinner in the inn dining room and the food was all really good, as was the breakfast the next morning. Worth going there to eat even if you can't stay. The family have everything just right with good but not intrusive service. We had a really enjoyable stay and it was all good value."
"We stayed at the Quay Inn for one night over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend ....Our room was fine, with a sea view, comfortable bed, flat screen TV & a fantastic power shower. The pub itself is renowned for its high quality food and after our dining experiences at both dinner & breakfast it is easy to see why. Both meals were superb. "We travelled down to Minehead to celebrate a friend's 60th wedding anniversary. We have stayed at The Quay before and knew we were guaranteed a room with a view. We also had arranged an evening meal with our friends there. The room was newly refurbished to a very high standard. We had a beautiful view out to sea. The food was excellent.
